Topic: Does transported domain still benefit from filtering?

I'm wanting to service 3 domains, 2 will reside on iredmail and the 3rd will be on an internal exchange server. In effect I just want to use iredmail as a spam filter / gateway for the exchange domain. Is this possible?

Re: Does transported domain still benefit from filtering?

Hmm?

This seems related to outbound relaying and I understand how that works.

I'm asking about inbound and the question should defiantly not be limited to just postfix because the meat of my question is in regard to all of the spam filtering aspects of iredmail. Are those filtering capabilities applied to an internal site that is being internally relayed with iredmail? Inward not outward. All this would of course include things like quarantine and user spam management etc...

iRedMail uses 'dovecot' as local mailbox delivery agent (LDA), you can replace it by a smtp or lmtp transport so that it hands over received emails to a remote host.
