Hi folks, been working to build an iredmail server, partnered up with proxmox mail gateway.
Experienced some teething issues but now the server can send and receive emails from different user accounts.
The issue has been getting thunderbird to work, even when I manually add the account it just can't connect to the server.
I read online about this "autodiscovery" but I can't really made heads or tails of it and I can't get the SRV record added on OnlyDomains to advance to the next stage.
I appreciate there is very very little information provided here, so should you require more information that may help narrow down the issue I would be happy to oblidge.
Once this is up and running, I will be able to start the process of moving away from testing the mail server, to implementing it with our proper domain name and migrating from our hosting provider.
