Hi all,

Last week i decided to upgrade Debian from Buster to Bullseye crashing the Sogo-roundcube installed.

How should i proceed?
- Install a new server a migrate the current conf to the new one
- Reinstall iredmail on top of this one.

PD. I have the intention to upgrade to bookworm. Is it recommended?

Cheers,

Hi,

Yes i did.

Will it be easier to reinstall iredmail from zero?

Re: Debian upgrade to Buster to Bullseye

- Backup /etc/sogo/
- Backup SQL database "sogo"
- Remove package "libsope-dev". If it removes sogo and sope packages as dependences, reinstall them.

Re: Debian upgrade to Buster to Bullseye

Hi again,

After upgrading to bullseye now im able to access sogo and working email.
The issue now i have is session timeout is less dan 5 minutes.

Jul 21 19:54:57 sogod [1087]: <0x0x561d83eaed50[SOGoWebAuthenticator]> Expired session received, redirecting to login page.

After researching i found out about the cron task to release old sessions greater than 30m. The cron line has not changed.

Any idea where to look?

Re: Debian upgrade to Buster to Bullseye

Hi,

I found out that soso_session_folder c_value length was 255. Altering that field to 4096 solved the session expiring.

Thanks,
