Hello, yesterday I restarted the server and after the restart one user told me that all his mails disappeared. I tried to put them back there using thunderbird. The mails were there for a while but this morning they were gone again. And then around noon today, his emails from today disappeared as well. I looked in the imap log which showed how the mail was deleted after the mail but I don't know why. Thank you for your advice.

Does this user have multiple mail client applications and one of them is configured to fetch messages via POP3?
