==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====

- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 22.04

- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Nginx
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? Planning to - still assessing service.

====

We're currently exploring using iRedMail to handle around 10k mailboxes to start. We currently handle Cyrus with Horde mail servers and a fleet of Zimbra mail servers. I am curious if there's a good way to prepare iRedmail for cloning with the goal of adjusting each clone to fit our needs, as we'll be having numerous virtual machines to host a number of iRedMail servers across several hypervisors, or does each iRedMail server need to go through its own install from a base image?

Generally speaking most of the servers will clustered together, but there may be a few individual iRedMail servers that would be a dedicated instance for a single domain.

you can clone, but you will have to adjust certificates, dkim signatures, server names etc...
