Hi there,
I use Sogo web

I want to know the difference between Sogo webui forwarding and the SQL forwarding

https://docs.iredmail.org/sql.user.mail.forwarding.html

If users are self served to set forwarding from Sogo webui, it writes a sieve rule in the user's sieve directory. and it's not in MySQL.

MariaDB [vmail]> select * from forwardings where address <> forwarding and active=1 and is_forwarding=1;
Empty set (0.032 sec)

Also it does forward, but I want to know the difference.

Thank you

Re: SQL forwarding // dovecot sieve forwarding

SQL forwarding does not respect sieve rules, sieve forwarding happens after mail went trough filters
