Topic: Configure mx1 to use mail. On clients

Hi folks,

Got a question. So I am currently building mx1.fqdn.com & mx2.fqdn.com. Now this is all very well but when it comes to clients either using IMAP method how exactly can I set it to use mail.fqdn.com even though the two servers are configured as mx1 and mx2. I know that I could create another record and change Nginx Server block to use mail. But when it comes to logging in Thunderbird or mobile devices I’m trying to figure out how to use mail.fqdn instead.

i guess a simple CNAME record would solve this
