I am trying to get the Webmail-Client to work with ngnix-reverse-proxy and would like to know how I can switch off the redirection to https when using the webmail client.

The webmail-client should simply be reachable via http: // mymailserver.domain.com/mail

I looked through all the configuration files and tried to just alter the port of ngnix (sites-available/ssl-default-config) to only use port 80 and not use ssl, but this did not work.

When I am doing this, I am not getting the Webmailer-Login page. Instead I get a site which tells me "welcome to ngnix".

Can you please tell me what I have to do when I would like to access the Webmail-Client only via http (with no automatic redirects)?

Thanks a lot!
