Topic: Mailing List Manager: Gmail and Outlook marking mails as spam

Hi there @ the iredmail team.

Unfortunately, lately Google / Microsoft tend to put mailing list messages (subscribable mailing list) into their spam folder. I suspect it is because the "From" address is either the sender himself, or a gmail address. I suppose the mailing list server should put the current From: Address into a Reply-To: header, and replace the From: header with something like "Name Surname via Mailing List Name <mailing-list@address.tld>". At least an option for this would be great. Any thoughts / ideas / works in progress?

Best Regards,

Lorenzo

Do you have your domain SPF/DKIM/DMARC all set up correctly?
Without those, mail that passes through a list server has a very high probability of being spam filtered if not outright dropped.  Even with proper SPF & DKIM it's still far too easy to do something that modifies the envelope and causes a failure and resulting spam flag.
