Topic: Solved --Firewall ports or something wrong in the installation?

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 1.6.8
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer? download
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:  Ubuntu 22.04
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): PGSQL
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Nginx
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? No
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

After installation (no reboot yet) all I get from SOgo or iredamin URLs is a 404 message.
Pointing the browser at the hostname gets a redirect to SOGo, but just the 404 error.

This is sitting behind a NAT'ing firewall with ports 80 and 443 forwarded to the host.
25, 465 and 587 need to be forwarded to get a response?

Not that inside the firewall when pointing to the IP address I don't even get an Nginx 404 error, I just get "failure to connect".

Edit: Apparently just needed a reboot.
Edit 2: Sticky keys hmm

Thank you -- that helped tremendously!!

is iredadmin exposed externally via port 80/443?
Appears to be -- is there a way to only allow access to it from inside the domain?
Or disable altogether from the CLI unless needed?

Yes, it is exposed externally, it runs behind a uwsgi daemon, so nginx is just a proxy
