Topic: Before purchare question

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer?
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
- Web server (Apache or Nginx):
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====A perhaps stupid question but as a not native english toungh I can misunderstand.
When I buy a Pro license, it also comes with the iredmail easy or I must but both to get an up and running installation

https://www.iredmail.org/easy.html

License of iRedAdmin-Pro (the full-featured web admin panel) is NOT included

You don't need to pay for iRedMail, only iRedAdmin is a licence, and iRedMail Easy is a paid subscription

Re: Before purchare question

Well to be honest that link did not help much.
What I want to do is to buy a pro version and install on a fresh server. Not upgrade anything, just start from scratch.

Re: Before purchare question

you install iredmail, then you buy pro license and upgrade iredadmin to iredadmin pro

and that is exaclty what the guide i linked you is telling you

Thanks to @Cthulhu for helping. smile

- iRedMail is free and open source.
- iRedAdmin-Pro is a paid full-featured web admin panel, you can purchase and install iRedAdmin-Pro after installed iRedMail.
- iRedMail Easy is a separated deployment platform, it requires separate (monthly or annual) subscription. iRedAdmin-Pro license doesn't include iRedMail Easy subscription.

How could a user of the non-paid version donate to support the open-source efforts?

Send to our PayPal account directly: paypal @ iredmail . org. We received maybe $2000-5000 in total since 2007. I don't recommend OSS developers to make a live with just donation.

By the way, if you don't have many mailboxes, consider our upcoming "iRedMail Enterprise Edition" instead of "iRedMail + iRedAdmin-Pro": https://www.iredmail.org/ee.html

Currently 2 pricing models are available:

- $15 per mailbox per year.
- $3000 per server with unlimited mailboxes.

That looks really interesting. I have hundreds of aliases and a few forwarders, but only a handful of mailboxes.
