I just want to get some things clarified prior to working toward installation and selection as our new email server.

We use an outside service for security and spam/virus protection.  Does iRedMail support sending email to an outside relay for this purpose?

I've noticed that there hasn't been a release since December of last year.  Is it still under active development/bug fixing?

I want to get this stuff clarified before I setup a test box as well as presenting this to our financial people as a viable alternative to what we are using currently.
