I am using iRedMail version 0.8.7
I want to upgrade from 0.8.7 to 1.7.1. To avoid affecting the Email system:
- Backup MySQL, Email Store on version 0.8.7
- Install virtual machine, install Centos Stream 9 and install iRedMail 1.7.1 on it
- Restore MySQL Database and Email Store from backup
Currently there are the following errors:
- Cannot log in to email on Roundcube
- Cannot create additional Email accounts on iRedAdmin
I have tried to fix it but failed, please help!

So I have to upgrade each level from version 0.8.7 to 1.7.1. Is there a faster way to do it? Because my Mail Store usage is about 1.8TB.

Re: Upgrade version 0.8.7 to 1.7.1

no there is no faster way, 0.8.7 is very old and there were many updates (and even security fixes)

for future you should consider keeping your system up to date in time to prevent things like this, that aswell makes the effort of gettint it to the latest version way easyer since it it only one step and not that many like in your case
