Topic: update from iredmail 1.3 to current? should I?

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer?
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
- Web server (Apache or Nginx):
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

I'm running version 1.3 without issues.

What are the benefits, in real terms, of upgrading to current?

Since I'm running on a hosted VPS, I actually don't have the ability to do a full bare-metal backup - so I'm a little hesitant to 'fix what ain't broke'.  I do copy off all emails, so I would be able to do a complete re-install and restore my mail cache.

To get to 'current', I'd have to go through 17 sets of upgrade instructions.

Thanks for the thoughts.

Andrew
