Topic: disk partitioning for new installation

Hi,

Simple question, but I searched and couldn't find the answer.

It looks like mail (by default) is stored in /var/vmail.

Is there any other filesystem location that a significant amount of data is stored in?

Thanks,

mark

Re: disk partitioning for new installation

Hi,

You are correct that email data is typically stored in `/var/vmail` when using some email servers such as Postfix and Dovecot, especially with virtual email setups. However, there are a number of other locations where important email server related data may be stored depending on the configuration and specific software being used
