Hi,

I need to filter mail going through our iredmail server. A customer sends an autoreply to every mail we send them. Those mails first go to a mailbox-Account that is set to forward all mail. Mail is forwarded to an alias, also on our Server.

How can I filter those mails centrally, not having to go through all final destination mailboxes?
I tried Sieve filter on the first account, but that does not work, which was pretty obvious, as this filtering is done, when the mail is stored to a mailbox.

Thanks, best
Jochen

Re: filtering forwarding mail

thx. I found that already, but it is not really backscatter. Ideally, I want the filteriung just for one of my addresses…
Additionally, I think iredmail already has advanced filtering in place so I hope to get a hint in that direction…

best,
Jochen

Re: filtering forwarding mail

Check the email generated by autoreply, maybe there's one mail header you can use to stop further operations with sieve filter.
