Topic: MX stops working and starts again after reboot

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 1.7.1
- Deployed with downloadable installer
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu 24.04.01
- Store mail accounts in which backend: MySQL
- Web server: Nginx
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

New installation of iRedMAil.
It works great for awhile. After a few hours, MX delivery stops working.
Sending email from an outside source to an iRedMail account doesn't get deliverd to the inbox and does not bounce. No error messages. Shows Sent.
Checking an iRedMail account using IMAP or Roundcube shows no errors and no new email.
Sending email from IMAP iRedMail account or Round Cube shows no errors and does not get delivered. Sits in Sent items folder.
Rebooting the Ubuntu server solves all problems and mail gets delivered again for a short time.
Repeat. Rebooting again gets it working again for awhile.
How should I debug this?
Which modules should I debug? I am somewhat new but have a basic understanding of iRedMail and good IT skills.
Which logs will help?

Re: MX stops working and starts again after reboot

How much RAM do you have?

iredmail needs at least 4GB ram for a low traffic mailserver

I only had 1GB ram set for the Hyper-V VM. I increased it to 8GB and 4 cores. So far so good. I will see after a few hours if it keeps going.

Re: MX stops working and starts again after reboot

Adding RAM made no difference. It stops working after less than an hour and starts working when I reboot.

Any related error in /var/log/syslog, /var/log/dovecot/*.log?
