Topic: Upgrade from 0.7.0 to 0.7.1

Hi,
i am a bit confused about the upgrade/update process. Should i download it and install it as normal, bash iRedMail.sh or what?
Will it not overwrite my data in the db and configuration files?
I want to upgrade it but i am afraid it might break my system. I followed the upgrade tutorial but the only thing there is to change a mysql query.

Please advise,

Alex

Just follow the upgrade tutorial in announcement post:
http://www.iredmail.org/forum/topic1930.html

Normally, upgrade iRedMail is just changing/adding some config file, update binary packages.

Re: Upgrade from 0.7.0 to 0.7.1

iRedMail installs binary packages from Linux/BSD official repositories or ports tree, so updating binary packages on iRedMail server is same as updating packages for Linux/BSD.

For example, on CentOS, you can use "yum update" to update binary packages, that's all.
