Topic: Using Sogo and Roundcube together

I am wondering about using SOGo Groupware for the activesync service in order to get email/calendar/contacts pushed to my mobile phone and the Roundcube Webmail interface for managing my emails.

For me it might work correctly but is there any constraints using it like this ?
Should I run only SOGo groupware for both ?

Re: Using Sogo and Roundcube together

It's ok to run both -- the only one problem is, do not manage mail filters in both application, because the (sieve) filter rules generated by them are not compatible.

FYI https://docs.iredmail.org/why.no.sieve. … .sogo.html

If you run iRedMail Enterprise Edition, you can run Roundcube for webmail, Z-Push for activesync, SOGo as calendar (CalDAV) and contact (CardDAV) server at the background, the problem is Roundcube doesn't have plugins for managing calendar / contacts on web UI (yet).

We may integrate plugins[1] developed by Kolab (the company behind Roundcube) later and drop SOGo, but cannot promise when it will be started.
