Topic: v. 2 to v. 5 and Mailbox Migration

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 0.9.7 MARIADB to 1.7.4 MARIADB.
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer? Downloadable for both.
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 7 to Ubuntu 24.04
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySQL for both.
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Nginx for both.
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

We have an older server running an older iredmail, which want to migrate to a new server running a newer version of iredmail.  I have two questions in that regard>

1) Do you have any caveats or issues in migrating from those versions to the newer versions?

2) Is this still the best mailbox migration KB, given those versions, old and new?

Sorry, we  are migrating iRedAdmin-Pro version 2.8.0 to iRedAdmin-Pro version 5.7.1.  Along with it, iRedMail version 0.9.7 MARIADB will migrate to version 1.7.4 MARIADB.
Do you see any issues or have any caveats, moving from those older versions to the newer?

You still need to apply all SQL structure changes after restored SQL databases by following iRedMail upgrade tutorials, so that you can get same SQL structure as the latest iRedMail release.
