Topic: Location of Incremental iRedMail and iRedAdmin Installers

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 0.9.7 MARIADB to 1.7.4 MARIADB.
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer? Downloadable for both.
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: CentOS 7 to Ubuntu 24.04.
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): MySQL for both.
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Nginx for both.
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? Yes, for both.
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

As I understand it, to migrate our old 0.9.7 iRedMail and old 2.8.0 iRedAdmin-Pro server to the new server, we have to update the old server's iRedAdmin to the build on the new server and do the same iRedAdmin-Pro on the old server, that is, update it to the version on the new server.  Then we can migrate.

Where can I download these many incremental builds?

Re: Location of Incremental iRedMail and iRedAdmin Installers

I do not see on this page where I can download 1.8.0, 1.8.1, 1.8.2 and so forth to 1.8.7.  I have downloaded 1.8.8, but I need the other incremental.  I am on 1.7.4.

Please read the "How upgrading works" section first:
https://docs.iredmail.org/iredmail.releases.html

You can find all releases here:

Re: Location of Incremental iRedMail and iRedAdmin Installers

Thank you. I have downloaded all the increments from 1.8.0 to 1.8.8.  I have also read the enclosed readme.md and the links to the the site.  I have a pretty good idea how I can get iRedMail to 1.8.8.

Once I have done that, will I be able to upgrade from iRedAdmin-Pro 5.7.1 directly to iRedAdmin-Pro SQL-5.9, or are there incremental builds there, too, that I need to do in sequence?

Re: Location of Incremental iRedMail and iRedAdmin Installers

- You CANNOT upgrade iRedMail by running the installer of each iRedMail release. https://docs.iredmail.org/iredmail.releases.html
- You CAN upgrade iRedAdmin(-Pro) from old release to latest one directly AFTER you have latest iRedMail running: https://docs.iredmail.org/migrate.or.up … admin.html

I am not sure why you mention the iRedAdmin comment; I thought I made it clear that is exactly what I am doing.  In case you are correcting something I am doing wrong, let me reiterate:
I have downloaded all the incremental iRedMail updates (iRedMail-1.8.0.tar.gz through iRedMail-1.8.8.tar.gz) from https://github.com/iredmail/iRedMail/tags, the link you provided.
I will be applying them one at a time, in order, following all the instructions in each individual patch (if there are any instructions) and online (for that patch.)

If those are NOT the incremental patches I should be applying, please let me know.  But then why did you send me that link?
