Hi, all.

We will public detail tutorial of "Integrate Microsoft Active Directory with iRedMail" this week. It provides you below features:

  • User authentication against Windows Active Directory.

  • Mail list/group support with group in AD.

  • Global LDAP Address Book with AD in Roundcube Webmail.

  • Account status support. Disable user in Active Directory will cause this account be disabled in iRedMail.

i try that your link then i reach to Verify LDAP query with AD in Postfix step

when i run command postmap -q test1@mydomain.com ldap:/etc/postfix/ad_virtual_mailbox_maps.cf or
postmap -q test1@mydomain.com ldap:/etc/postfix/ad_sender_login_maps.cf result it's not same as your tutorial
it's not response anything and then prompt again sad any ideas ?

my system = iRedMail-0.7.1 on Ubuntu 10.04 server i386

Try to set "debuglevel = 1" in both ad_virtual_mailbox_maps.cf and ad_sender_login_maps.cf, then try again. It will print detail debug message on terminal, try to find the root cause yourself. If you're not sure what the problem is, please paste detail debug message here, so that others can help troubleshoot. smile

I Think i found a root of cause when i change form tutorial by
remove cn=users, from search_base

search_base     = dc=mydomain,dc=com

it's work yikes because i create user vmail under my company Organize Unit

OK I have a some question

how to if my local domain and mail domain are diffirent?
local = mydomain.local
mail = mydomain.co.th

Because now i can't login to roudcube mail with user@mydomain.co.th
but only can login by user@mydomain.local instead sad

please advice me thank ;D

What do you mean "local domain" and "mail domain"?
Login in Roundcube will connect to AD via Dovecot, so please turn on debug mode in Dovecot (dovecot.conf) for troubleshooting:

mail_debug = yes
auth_verbose = yes
auth_debug = yes                                                                                   
auth_debug_passwords = yes
