Topic: error when sending emails using an alias email address (5.7.1)
Hallo
I've tried to send an email using one of the alias addresses as sender address using Thunderbird. I get an error message:
5.7.1 <me-alias@alias.ch>: Sender address rejected: not owned by user me-real-address@alias.ch. Bitte überprüfen Sie die E-Mail-Adresse debian-security-announce-request@lists.debian.org und wiederholen Sie den Vorgang.(e.g. "please verify the email address debian-security-announce-request@lists.debian.org" which is the recipient).
Sending email using me-real-address@alias.ch works. When using the alias sender something prevents sending the email.
me-alias@alias.ch is an alias of me-real-address@alias.ch (anyone can send emails)
How can I enable sending emails using alias addresses as sender?
