Which feature are you expecting in new iRedMail release?

0.9.5 is scheduled to be available in late April, maybe May 1.

It's hard to handle files modified by sysadmin... That's why iRedMail requires a fresh/new server OS.

Hi Zang,

Do you think SoGo 3 will be supported for FreeBSD in 0.9.5? it´s in the ports since shortly

Some problems right now:

*) The dependent port 'textproc/wbxml2' is broken, cannot be compiled. I contacted the port maintainer and he's offering generous support.
*) SOGo in ports tree is still 2.3.8, not upgraded to the latest stable release (either 2.3.10 or 3.0.2). Personally, i GUESS port maintainer won't upgrade it to 3.0.x so soon.

Ummmm : http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/www/sogo3/

http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/ww … ctivesync/

I can be wrong, but this looks much like Sogo3 on FBSD wink v 3.02 of the 2 series, indeed 2.3.8.1

Re: iRedMail-0.9.4 has been released.

I just found this port too. Yes we will switch to SOGo 3 in upcoming iRedMail release.
But still waiting for the fix for port 'textproc/wbxml2'.

Re: iRedMail-0.9.4 has been released.

ps the Sogo3 port has a different maintainer, not euan, but acm _at_ freebsd.org

Re: iRedMail-0.9.4 has been released.

Hi Zhang!

Greetings and congratulations from Venezuela.

iRedMail seems the software I have been looking for a very long time. I really hope that my search is over and will be able to change all my email activity with iRedMail.

For the time being I successfully moved the tar file iRedMail-0.9.4.tar.bz2 into root~ which is a huge achievement for me. I will reread patiently the "Preparations: Set a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) hostname on your server" in order to make sure that everything will run smoothly.

I agree with your philosophy that people should maintain their mails and not let that responsability to google, outlook or yahoo!

If no MySQL database were created, it's better to reinstall server OS and install iRedMail again.
