Topic: Send 1000s mails from Outlook

Hi all,

I sends day by day 1000s of mail from Outlook, this process spend to much time.
Example: outlook outbox have 3000 emails and pushing to server (by local network) for about 1.5h.
It's possible to change something for accelerate this time to about few minutes ?

I think the problem is you can't send many emails at the same time (e.g. per-second) with Outlook, it slows down the speed.

Zhang,

For older server (centos 4 and standard config of postfix) working litle quiker and smoother.
I think is in postfix configuration, probable, but I dont have tested on production server. I'm amator with postfix.

You can try to add your client ip address in postfix "mynetworks =" setting, so that no SMTP auth is required. It will speed up a little.
