Topic: How to reinstall iRedMail - wrong mysql root password at install

I recently tried to install iRedMail and during the installation, at the section where it asks for the mysql root password, I entered the wrong password, and the install proceeded but of course could not complete the database portions of the installs correctly. I tried rerunning the install script but it must use a check file to confirm that it has already been installed, and shows <<--SKIP-->> for the various install functions. I find it strange that the install script does not check for a mysql connection before proceeding on the chance someone has entered the wrong password. Is there anyway I can reinstall iRedMail without uninstalling and starting over?

Thanks

Re: How to reinstall iRedMail - wrong mysql root password at install

* iRedMail is designed to deploy on a FRESH server system, which     *
* means it doesn't have mail related components installed, e.g.      *
* Apache, MySQL, OpenLDAP, Postfix, Dovecot, Amavisd, etc. Otherwise *
* it may override your existing files/configurations althought it    *
* will backup files before modify.

You could try removing the config file and rerunning the install script.
