Topic: mySql root

Hello, can you please quickly tell me how to log into the mySql database of iRedMail? The iRedMail admin user does not seem to work. "root" also doesn't to it.

- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Ubuntu
- Store mail accounts in which backend (MySQL):
- Web server (Nginx):
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin

Re: mySql root

With iRedMail-0.9.7, if you're logged in as "root" user (or switched to "root" with su/sudo), just type "mysql" command without any argument will login to mysql as "root" user.

MySQL root username/password is stored in /root/.my.cnf.
