Topic: LDAP Issue on old iRedMail version

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version 0.84
- Debian 6.0
- LDAP
- Apache
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro - YES
- When trying to make any changes to the server in iRedAdmin-Pro I get the following error and the LDAP server crashes:
   Error: {'desc': 'Other (e.g., implementation specific) error'}
====

We want to migrate to a fresh install on Debian 9 and the latest iRedMail and iRedAdmin-Pro but with this error we cannot make any changes to our current server. We need to fix our current server in order to migrate to a new install. Any help with this error would be greatly appreciated.

What did you change?

Does restart OpenLDAP service help?

Re: LDAP Issue on old iRedMail version

When I get that error it does crash the LDAP server so I do need to restart the OpenLDAP service for the server to continue running. After restarting the OpenLDAP server mail flows fine but the next time any change is made in iRedAdmin I get the same error and the LDAP service crashes again.

Did you modify slapd.conf on new server?
