Topic: iredmail successfully installed, no maillog found in /var/log

==== Required information ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 0.9.8 OPENLDAP edition.
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version: Linux version 4.4.49
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Ngnix
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? No
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.

2 issues I found:
1) I can't found maillog or mail.log under /var/log
I can only trace my email problem thru /var/etc/iredmail/iredmailapd.log
2) I can send email thru Roundcube, and I can get gmail's email. but cannot receive any.

Here is iredmailapd.log

I checked postfix/master.cf and main.cf but both no hints to find where the log file should be.'
I manually create maillog and mail.log but both were 0bytes.

Let me know if I need to post any other files for troubleshoot, and let me know how to fix the missing log and cannot receive email issue.

Additional to point 2.

what I mean is:
I can successfully send out email, but my gmail not receive any email from kentchan@xxxx.net

Checked A, MX record, SMTP, were all good by using mxtoolbox

Does your ISP block port 25?

Are you sure there's a file called "/var/etc/iredmail/iredmailapd.log"?

Ops, it's my fault, it should be /var/log/iredapd

I have reinstall iredmail and everything go fine now!
however, I encounter email cannot send to gmail and mac.com... here is the postfix log, appreciate if you can give me hints to troubleshoot.

I tried mail tester and it seem time out. I used mxtoolbox scanned my domain and found port 25 is open.
I have checked main.cf, refer to other's experience, I add local.$myhostname at the end and it is like this:
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost, localhost.localdomain, localhost.$myhostname

I won't do other change at all.

can you do : telnet localhost smtp? if you can then ehlo example.org to see a menu?
