Last Status:
WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED!
WARNING: Local version: 0.100.1 Recommended version: 0.100.2
    DON'T PANIC! Read https://www.clamav.net/documents/upgrading-clamav
main.cvd is up to date (version: 58, sigs: 4566249, f-level: 60, builder: sigmgr)
daily.cld is up to date (version: 25034, sigs: 2120424, f-level: 63, builder: neo)
bytecode.cvd is up to date (version: 327, sigs: 91, f-level: 63, builder: neo)

I ran an update and upgrade with no change.  I checked Debian package tracker and as of Oct 12 0.100.2 is in test.  Am I able to assume once 0.100.2 is moved to production a Sudo apt-get update will take care of this?  Just trying to learn and help others.

You have to wait for the update in Debian apt repository.

By the way, ClamAV version does not matter that much than the clamav virus signature database.
