Hi IRM Users and Admins!

I've got a third party system providing access to hosted address books by CardDAV.

Thunderbird is able to subscribe to these address books by CardDAV links.

My question is: Is SOGo also able to bind to them?

Thank you very much!

BR,
Irma

What do you mean "bind to them"?

Re: SOGo capable of CardDAV subscription?

Like Thunderbird being able to use SOGo calendar by CalDAV, SOGo should be able to "import" address books (aka contacts) by CardDAV from the third party application.

Re: SOGo capable of CardDAV subscription?

It should be fine. What's the issue for you to import address books this way?

Re: SOGo capable of CardDAV subscription?

There's no option or wizard where you could define your CardDAV connection within SOGo Web GUI.

Do I have to configure it in the config files?

- What do you mean "define your CardDAV connection"?
- Do you want to subscribe to a shared address book, or import contacts from a file?

Yes, I want to subscribe to a shred address book. SOGo shall use the third party address book and binding must use CardDAV. I cannot find the configuration settings to set it up.

Re: SOGo capable of CardDAV subscription?

The question has been answered in SOGo mailing list:

SOGo does not have a syncronization capability with other systems.
You only can import addresses from file in LDIF or vCard format.
