I am seeing iRedAPD die from time to time, for which I can't find the reason from looking into the logs. After it dies, I can see the error in the log:

"connect to 127.0.0.1:7777: Connection refused"

but since this happens maybe once a month, I am unable to track down the exact cause. When it's dead, this seems to cause many emails to not deliver.

This has happened to me like 5 ~ 6 times.

Do you know what causes this? Is it a good idea to turn off iRedAPD completely?

Thanks!
