Topic: Synchronize AD into OpenLDAP / Pass-Trough authentication

Has anyone tried to synchronize AD and OpenLDAP unilaterally, or make transparent authorization
so as not to change the configuration from OpenLDAP to AD https://docs.iredmail.org/active.directory.html

I have been using ldap replacement for AD for many years, it works.

But I don’t want to lose control functionality if it were possible,
then most likely many purchased the iRedmail LDAP Pro

to manage spam sheets, mailings and other functions

without opportunity
- change of name or password
- add users, distribution groups, contacts
(in general, those things that are managed in the AD)
but retaining the rest of the possibilities

I saw in 2016, you said that you could probably make a product with the possibility of integration with blood pressure and the admin panel for AD, but as I understand it without the specified functionality

example OpenLDAP Pass-Trough authentication https://ltb-project.org/documentation/g … delegation

Do you think this is possible?
if someone has experience in this area it would be time to hear it

thanks

Dear CrashXRU,

We decided not to develop iRedAdmin-Pro for AD. Sorry. sad
