we have EAS deplyed with ired admin. we use Outlook 2019, Sogo e Roundcube webmail.

we noticed a difference between what we see in folders in outlook, folder in webmail (either sogo or roundcube) and if we ls -la the folder, another number comes out.

we fear a misconfiguration, or that the eas protocol does somewhat not show everything.

an example: a user trash folder (i hide the domain and user)

via folder /var/vmail/vmail/xxxxHIDDENDOMAINxx and xxxPATHTOUSERxxx/Maildir/.Trash/cur
shows 204 files with older in 2019 may (two are . and ..) so 202 real files

via sogo: 202, dates are the same

via roundcube: 182 topics but i suspect there are removed threads so expanding the treads should give a number similar to 200, but cannot say it for sure 100%

outlook: here is the big problem, we only have 177 with the oldest one only in year 2020, so we miss more than 20 files.. no filter, no wrong sorting somewhat

need explnations because this happens randomly also in other folders, and our customer is starting to think its loosing some mail.
