Topic: Notify user when message is throttled.

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release): 1.0
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer? downloadable
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:  centos 7.7
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL): LDAP
- Web server (Apache or Nginx): Nginx
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro? Yes
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.
====

Is there a setting to notify the end user when one of their outbound messages exceeds the throttle limit for message size (Max size of single email)? Currently I get notified, but the user has no idea their mail didn't go through.

Thanks.

Re: Notify user when message is throttled.

- End user will get rejection message in MUA like "Quota exceeded ...".
- Admins listed in iRedAPD setting "NOTIFICATION_RECIPIENTS = [...]" will get a email notification. Defaults to root user, and it's redirected to postmaster@<first-mail-domain-you-created-during-iRedMail-installation>.
- Is sending email to notify end user a good idea? Usually people won't send many emails and trigger the throttle, but if account has weak password and cracked, the cracker will send many spams and trigger the throttle, in this case, sending email to remind the cracker is terrible.
