Hi! I just bought a Pro license and need to upgrade from open-source edition. At the moment my version is 1.2 (from github). I wonder if I need to reinstall the whole iredmail 1.1 in order to upgrade to iredmail-pro. Thank you

You can upgrade iRedAdmin-Pro directly.

But when did you install this server? I improved Fail2ban today, it now stores banned IP addresses in SQL database, and upcoming iRedAdmin-Pro is able to view the banned IPs, also unban it.

I installed 1.2 about 2 weeks ago from github repo. Then if it's safe to upgrade directly from 1.2 I will, following the guide as I had 1.1 !?

Thanks again..

We didn't document changes happened between a master revision to latest 1.2 stable release, i'm afraid that you have to track github commits and apply changes. sad

Is it safe to upgrade to iRedadmin 4.3 then wait for 1.3 version of iRedMail to do the iRedMail upgrade or I must pull github commits befor upgrading iRedAdmin?

You got me wrong.
Since you're running a development edition which was pulled from GitHub, you now need to check all github commits AFTER the revision you pulled to understand what was changed, and apply the changes manually.

There's no need to download new iRedMail installer for upgrade, just apply the changes.

for iRedAdmin-Pro, you can upgrade to 4.3 directly.
