Greetings everyone, I have time working with IredMail.
this time I am implementing the solution in high availability with GlusterFs and everything works very well.
I have been asked to authenticate with a different ldap attribute other than email, and I have not received any information about it. exactly that roundcubemail can be accessed through a new attribute.

Thank you, I await your responses and observations.
Sorry my bad english.

Re: roundcube authentication with another ldap attribute

- Why a new attribute? And which one?
- You may need to update /etc/dovecot/dovecot-ldap.conf, or add a new userdb in /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf (with a different dovecot-ldap.conf).

Re: roundcube authentication with another ldap attribute

The attribute has not been decided yet, but users want to authenticate without using mail, cn or uid but a new attribute with special initials.
now regarding the changes to the dovecot, what impact would it have on the platform. because it is already working with 1500 users.
