CentOS 7 - MariaDB

Installed and created accounts in panel.  Login appears to create the file structure.

What are the conditions for creating another file structure with time stamp?  For had set up the machine, did the accounts and now connecting - get two user_date directories.  One is the previous creation of the account but is empty.

Why are there .Trash, .Sent, etc folders sometimes at the same level as the Maildir itself?  Was the old file structure in that form?

Did you ever change the maildir path to one without the '/Maildir/' in path?

Hello,
Not to my knowledge but some accounts are older accounts and they have been migrated previously.  So, does your response mean that that was not an older file structure in the software?

iRedMail uses same file structure since day one. It must be caused by the migration.

OK so to summarize the basic configuration.

The users data should always be in their Maildir directory with no parallel folders like .Trash or .Sent being present at that level.  Such folders should be contained in the Maildir directory by normal designs/configurations.
