Topic: Slightly OT - search backup email folders?

==== REQUIRED BASIC INFO OF YOUR IREDMAIL SERVER ====
- iRedMail version (check /etc/iredmail-release):
- Deployed with iRedMail Easy or the downloadable installer?
- Linux/BSD distribution name and version:
- Store mail accounts in which backend (LDAP/MySQL/PGSQL):
- Web server (Apache or Nginx):
- Manage mail accounts with iRedAdmin-Pro?
- [IMPORTANT] Related original log or error message is required if you're experiencing an issue.

I have all of my emails backed up to another server outside the email server (duh).  Is there a linux/Windows app which will allow me to index/search these emails without loading them into Outlook or the email server?  I'd like to remove really old emails from the server to regain space, but I don't want to 'lose' my access to these emails if I need them/need something in the future.

Thanks

Andrew

Seems only MailPiler is the open source mail archiving software:

But there're many commercial softwares and cloud solutions.
