Topic: thunderbird imap/pop cannot connect

I have set all like in documentation, but my email client is not able to connect to server.
* IMAP service: port 143 over STARTTLS (recommended)

Are you running the latest Thunderbird? Seems yours doesn't use TLSv1.2.

I have updated it but still no luck

- Any related error in Dovecot log files under /var/log/dovecot/? Especially dovecot.log.
- Could you please take a screenshot of the IMAP settings in Thunderbird?

After hours of work, I have finally solved it. It is caused only in windows workstation, with linux workstation is OK.
It is not caused by dovecot.

I will have to solve it with Gates or Thunderbird developers...
