Good morning. i should update the iredmail mail server.
I currently have an openbsd 6.4 which is updated to 1.2.1 (does not update iredapd).
I have created a new debian server with the latest version of iredmail.
I just need to export vmail and sql ??
Or should I install iredmail 1.2.1 in debian and update?
any help is appreciated

This week I did also a fresh installation von iRedMail on a brand new Server because the old Server-OS was out of date. So I had to migrate it to a new one.

I have updated iRedMail on the old Server to the latest iRedMail version and installed the same latest version of iRedMail on the new server as well (via installation script). This to ensure, that de DB-Schemas have the same Versions.

Afterwards I followed this guide, witch worked great:

Upgrade SQL table structures by following our upgrade tutorials first, then export on old server and import on new server.
