If you're talking about prefix text for mailing list, then it's handled by mlmmj (the mailing list manager), you can manage the prefixed text with iRedAdmin-Pro.

If not mailing list, then it's handled by Amavisd but it only prefix text (defaults to "[SPAM]") in subject for spams, not all emails.

thanks ZhangHuangbin,

in my case mlmmj is empty.
In fact i suspect one componnent of iredmail to handle the email headers to check if it is social or commercial use and then modify the subject of the email.

all the email with this kind of headers ar suffixed with [NEWSLETTER]
X-VADE-SPAMSTATE: commercial:mce
X-VADE-SPAMSCORE: 17
X-VADE-SPAMCAUSE:

alle the email with this kind of headers are suffixed with [SN]
X-VADE-SPAMSTATE: community:social
X-VADE-SPAMSCORE: 10
X-VADE-SPAMCAUSE:

I know that it is not a big trouble, but i just want to translate it.

Besides the cases mentioned in my first reply, there's no other component to modify subject. It might be added by other content filter (What's "Vade"?).
