Hi,

I have a .0.9.9 install  on centos and I want to migrate to 1.4 on debian since i have to switch data centers quickly.  I have the 1.4 installed on debian since I could not install .0.9.9 on debian because it was to new I had to go with 1.4.  I was hoping to install .0.9.9 on debian 10 and then update it to 1.4 one release at a time by my plans were foiled.

My question is can I still do an rsync on my email accounts et all or are there to many changes between .9 to 1.4 to rsync the data across.  If I have to start over not a biggie but I would like to keep my old emails if possible.  I changed to pgsq 1.4  from mysql .9 so not sure if that was a good idea or if I should rerun the install on 1.4 as mysql to make the transition easier.

Thanks,
Kevin

Suggestions:

- Upgrade 0.9.9 to 1.4.0 first, here's the upgrade tutorials: https://docs.iredmail.org/iredmail.releases.html
- After you have 1.4.0 running, migrate to a new 1.4.0 server with same backend (pgsql -> pgsql).
