Hello.

I have two dovecot servers.

I'm using dovecot replication plugin and I'm running replication via TCPS.
Sometimes happens that imap or deliver process for specfiic mailbox hangs and cannot be killed. I also tried kill -9 PID.

Dovecot version: 2.2.36

In logs I don't see anything useful even with debug log enabled. After process hang I can see the following message in logs:
Jun 13 09:03:33 mx1 dovecot: dsync-local(example@domain): Error: Couldn't lock /vmail/vmail1/domain/example/.dovecot-sync.lock: fcntl(/vmail/vmail1/domain/example/.dovecot-sync.lock, write-lock, F_SETLKW) locking failed: Timed out after 30 seconds (WRITE lock held by pid 87230)

Did you maybe had any similar problems? Is this known issue with dovecot 2.2.?
