Hi!. My server is located on the local network. Trusted clients only. I don't need clamav, spamassassin, and therefore amavis. Tell me if the server will work without these components and, if so, how to painlessly disable them. amavis periodically falls off update clamav, spamassassin helps, but I have to connect the server to the Internet and this is very inconvenient, thanks.

Re: disable amavis, clamav, spamassassi

There is a guide in the documents to disable those, be be aware that a local mailserver might (and will) be rejected by many providers, since it doesn't have a static ip, and you are unable to set a properly fqdn and reverse dns.

if it is for ONLY local mailboxes on a local network, it should be fine, but if emails shold be able to sent out to other providers, you will get many problems
