Good day all,

I have questions about upgrading my server. As stated above it's on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. It still has Python2 and that has to be upgraded to run the latest and greatest iRedMail software. python3 -V shows that I have 3.6.9, but I also have Python2 installed as well, python2 -V shows python 2.7.17. Do I need to do anything special to upgrade iRedMail? Should I just run 'do-release-upgrade' to upgrade to Ubuntu server 20.04.3 LTS? I'm trying not to destroy the server. Naturally, I would have a complete backup before I start anything.

Thanks

No, just follow our upgrade tutorials. The upgrade scripts shipped in iRedAPD, mlmmjadmin, iRedAdmin(-Pro) will install Python-3 and required Python modules automatically.

Not required.
