Hello,
I have setup a iredmail server at home on a hyper V which runs fine. Now I'd like to add a second (off-site) server to the cluster which would act as a Failover. I have read the documentation on the forum but it also speaks of a Virtual IP-address which I currently don't have. furthermore I don't really understand what I'd need. Is there someone who can help me out?
The config I use is:
Domainprovider hosts my domain and forwards all of the requests to the "site" to my public IP which forwards to the mailserver. Maybe not Ideal but it works.
At my domainprovider I was able to set up a VPS so I could use that as the off-site server. My network will be going down for a couple of weeks since I'll be moving and thus the mailserver would be down which isn't ideal for me.
