Good day, all,

How can I configure things so that all messages, both inbound and outbound, are around forever? I want to keep everything in the inbox, sent folders, and any user-created folders. I don't want them to reach some kind of time limit and just be removed by the system. Ideally the users should be able to move emails to folders, including to their trash folder, but not delete them or even empty their trash.

What must I do to make this happen?
Thanks

system is not going to remove anything. messages don't have any time limit.
if you want to keep emails, so that users don't know, you can use BCC in iredadmin pro

Re: keep all emails forever

You can BCC both inbound and outbound emails to some other email address(es), then take care of the BCCed messages.

Another option is setting up some email archiving software to archive them, compressed + encrypted, also provides web UI for fast search, download / export, etc.
