Hi we believe we have a configuration issue on our server because we are getting incorrect DMARC report saying that our domain smtp.domain.com is failing to align DKIM.
However our DKIM is correct it is domain.com (not smtp.domain.com).
Because we see errors on smtp.domain.com we believe there is a misconfiguration error somewhere during installation that is falsely reporting smtp.domain.com as a subdomain but in fact smtp.domain.com is just the name of our server.

Which files are we supposed to check to verify that domain.com is the name of our domain and smtp.domain.com is the name of our server?

Re: How to check the SMTP server settings?

i guess it is trough bounce messages from blocked spam, they contain a nullsender to avoid bounce loops, and they don't get DKIM signed aswell, so it always fails DMARC

Re: How to check the SMTP server settings?

Try to generate DKIM key for each email domain name.
FYI https://docs.iredmail.org/sign.dkim.sig … omain.html

Re: How to check the SMTP server settings?

Hi we have only one domain and the key is correct because it works for most of our messages.
We dont understand why sometimes the key fail... but the SPF and DMARC is pass.

Is there a way to verify the DKIM key is correct?

Maybe caused by DNS cache or temporary network issue?
