Topic: Changed etc/hosts after installing iRedMail

Hi,

I forgot to change the /etc/hosts before installing iRedMail

From:
127.0.0.1    localhost localhost.localdomain

To:
127.0.0.1   mail.domain.com mail localhost

Apparently, all (settings domains, emails, sending, receiving etc) working perfectly fine, with the mail-tester website giving 10/10.

Just wondering if anything could have gone wrong, please let me know.

Thanks.

If postfix uses correct server hostname, then it's ok.
Better set correct hostnames by following our installation tutorial.

Thanks for replying Zhang.

Please mention the link to the installation tutorial of the current version.
I followed the one on linuxbabe.com found through Google.

How about checking here on iRedMail.org instead of some random Google result?
